The Organisation has a sister company which is the awarding body for its own property related qualifications and is regulated by Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation, for a number of its examinations and diplomas.

In addition the Organisation runs some 250 short courses each year covering a wide range of property and industry related subjects, and also holds a number of specialist conferences and forums throughout the year.

ARLA - Association Of Residential Lettings Agents

The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) was formed in 1981 as the professional and regulatory body for letting agents in the UK, and has now grown to over 6,500 members, leading the way in setting and promoting the highest standards in the residential lettings industry. Membership is only achieved through formal qualification by agents who demonstrate that they have a thorough knowledge of their profession, and that they conduct their business according to current best management practice. Members are governed by the Code of Practice providing a framework of ethical and professional standards at a level far higher than the law demands.

ICBA - Institution of Commercial & Business Agents

The Institution of Commercial and Business Agents (ICBA) is a UK professional body which supports the distinct professional needs of Commercial and Business Agents. The Association of Professional Inventory Providers (APIP) was formed in 2009 to help support the professional needs of Inventory Providers within the UK. Our members have achieved accreditation in their profession, are fully insured and follow the APIP Code of Practice, ensuring a highly professional service to their clients.

AIPP - Association of International Property Professionals

The Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP) is the industry body for the international property market. A not-for-profit organisation, the AIPP is providing trade support services and improving standards of professionalism as well as offering published guidance to buyers. In a largely unregulated industry, AIPP Members voluntarily agree to follow a professional Code of Conduct and are bound by our Dispute Resolution Procedures.
